GE VMIVME-7658 High performance single board computer
Processor performance: Dual Intel Pentium III processors with speeds up to 1.26 GHz, 32-bit addressing and 64-bit data bus. Its superscalar architecture allows three instructions per clock cycle to be executed, and features a dynamic branch prediction unit, separate instruction and data cache, MMX™ technology, and streaming SIMD extensions with 70 new instructions to boost processor performance. In addition, the Pentium III processor features a 512 KB Advanced Transfer cache (ATC) that is integrated with the processor core on the same chip.
Memory and storage: Up to 2 GB of SDRAM with ECC (error checking and correction) ensures data accuracy and stability. Provides PCI Ultra320 SCSI interface for high-speed data storage and transfer, and also features Ultra DMA/66 hard drive and floppy disk drive controller for easy connection to various storage devices.
Communication interface: 133 MHz system bus, fast data transmission speed. Two fast Ethernet controllers that support 10BaseT and 100BaseTX interfaces enable high-speed network connectivity for easy data communication and sharing with other devices. There are also two high-performance 16550-compatible serial ports, as well as an enhanced parallel port that supports ECP/EPP mode to meet the connectivity needs of different types of devices.
