MOTOROLA MVME1603-011 embedded computer module
Hardware configuration:
Processor: It is usually equipped with the PowerPC 603 microprocessor, with different main frequencies available, such as 200MHz, etc. It has strong computing capabilities and can quickly handle various real-time control tasks and communication data.
Memory: Supports multiple memory capacity configurations, commonly including 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, etc., which can meet the data storage and processing requirements of different applications.
Storage: Equipped with Boot ROM, there are two 32-pin PLCC sockets (1MB flash memory), which can be used to store the system startup program and basic configuration information. In addition, there is 8KB NVRAM with a real-time clock (RTC) and battery backup, which can save key system parameters and time information.
Interface type:
VME I/O: The VME interface is provided through the VMEbus P2 connector, enabling high-speed data communication and interaction with other VME devices.
Serial port: There are a total of 4 serial ports, including 2 asynchronous ports and 2 synchronous/asynchronous ports. These can be achieved through P2 and MVME760 or MVME712M conversion modules, or they can be led out through the front panel for convenient communication with external serial devices.
Parallel port: It has an IEEE 1284 bidirectional parallel port, which is implemented through P2 and conversion modules and can be used to connect parallel devices such as printers and scanners.
Ethernet port: It provides AUI and 10BaseT Ethernet connections, which can be achieved through P2 and MVME760 or MVME712M conversion modules, or led out through the front panel. It supports network communication, facilitating remote monitoring and data transmission.
SCSI Interface: It is equipped with 16-bit and 8-bit SCSI interfaces. The 16-bit SCSI interface can be led out through the front panel, and the 8-bit SCSI interface can be realized through the P2 and MVME712M conversion module. It can be used to connect SCSI devices such as hard disks and tape drives.
Other interfaces: Supports keyboard and mouse input interfaces, which are led out through the front panel; It also features a super VGA high-resolution color graphics port, which can be connected to a monitor for graphic display.
