Functional characteristics
Support for multiple cameras: It can be used in conjunction with various analog cameras provided by numerous camera manufacturers, capable of capturing monochrome or color images, and supports RS-170 /NTSC and CCIR/PAL input formats.
Real-time image acquisition and storage: It can capture images in real time, store them in the on-board frame memory, or directly transfer them to the system memory.
Flexible image configuration: It has enhanced image processing capabilities and supports partial image acquisition of the programmable region of Interest (ROI). Users can configure the image size through the ROI tool or the maximum size option in the NI-IMAQ driver software.
Multiple triggering methods: There are various ways to start collecting, including frame/field selection, trigger control, and software control. Users can choose the collecting format according to their own needs.
Equipped with dedicated controllers: Utilizing three independent on-board direct memory access (DMA) controllers, information is transferred from the on-board SDRAM memory buffer to the PCI bus. It supports distribution-aggregation DMA, making the controllers easy to reconfigure and enabling image transfer to connected or discontinuous memory buffers.
Precise color decoding: Its precise color analog video decoder makes it suitable for industrial and scientific environments.
Rich software support: The card is provided with NI vision acquisition software, NI vision generator, etc. It supports the development of application programs in development environments such as LabVIEW, Lab Windows/CVI and Measurement Studio. Through the NI-IMAq driver software, Users can easily start applications without the need for register-level programming.
