NI SCXI-1127 matrix/Multiplexing switch module
Channel configuration: It has 64 channels and multiple configuration methods, such as 1×32, 2-wire multiplexers, two 1×16, 2-wire multiplexers, four 1×8, 2-wire multiplexers, etc. Through special terminal blocks, configurations such as 4×8, 2-wire or 1×32, 2-wire matrices can also be achieved. In addition, with the help of software-configurable switches, the module can also be used as a 1×64, 1-wire or 1×64, 4-wire multiplexer.
Electrical characteristics: Suitable for both low and high voltage measurements. For low-voltage measurement, relays with extremely low thermal offset are adopted to ensure precise measurement; For high-voltage measurement, it can withstand signals of 250Vrms (200mA load) and 30Vdc (1A load).
Bandwidth: The maximum bandwidth is 11MHz.
There are two scanning methods: software scanning and hardware timed scanning. Software scanning can select channels through software, but its time accuracy is not as good as that of hardware timed scanning. Hardware timed scanning is further divided into synchronous scanning and handshake scanning. Synchronous scanning only requires a single signal from the device to the multiplexer, while handshake scanning also needs another signal from the multiplexer to the device.
Relay characteristics: At 20 degrees Celsius, the typical operating time of the relay is 3ms, and the maximum operating time is 5ms.
Others: This module uses the NI-Switch driver software and supports application development environments such as LabVIEW, Measurement Studio, Visual Basic, Microsoft C and C++. It can be configured through the Measurement & Automation Explorer tool.
