Product information
Foxboro FBM204 I/A series analog input/output modules
Input and output channels: It features 4 0-20mA DC analog input channels and 4 0-20mA DC analog output channels.
Input type: Accepts analog sensor input, such as 4-20mA transmitters or self-powered 20mA signal sources.
Output characteristics: Each output channel can drive external loads to generate 0-20mA output.
Isolation feature: Current isolation is adopted between channels and between channels and ground to ensure the safety and stability of signal transmission.
Data conversion: sigma-delta data conversion technology is adopted to achieve high-precision conversion.
Communication protocol: Supports Foundation Fieldbus H1 communication protocol.
Accuracy: The accuracy is ±0.1% of the range.
Update rate: Updated once every 250 milliseconds per channel.
Power supply: Usually 24V DC, with a power consumption of 1.5W per channel.
Operating temperature range: -40℃ to + 85℃.
Functional characteristics
Signal conversion and processing: It can convert the electrical input and output signals of on-site sensors into signals suitable for fieldbus transmission, execute analog I/O applications, and configure parameters such as conversion time and fault-safe configuration. Distributed PIDA applications can also be executed to provide a fast control loop.
Configurability: Users can configure the conversion time, fail-safe mode (hold/fallback), and simulated output fail-safe fallback data, etc. according to actual needs, which enhances the flexibility and reliability of the module application.
Environmental adaptability: With a robust design, it is suitable for G3-level harsh environments and can operate stably in harsh industrial Settings.
Convenient maintenance: The terminal component design is easy to maintain. During maintenance, there is no need to interrupt the output, reducing the maintenance workload and the impact on the production process.
Hart compatibility: Electrically compatible with standard Hart signals, it enables convenient communication and interaction with devices that support the Hart protocol.
