GE IC3603A177AH9 Relay Module
Working Principle: This relay module contains an electromagnetic coil inside. When current passes through the coil, an electromagnetic field is generated. The electromagnetic field attracts the iron core magnetically, causing it to move, which in turn drives the mechanical part to act, resulting in a change in the state of the contacts. Relays usually have normally open and normally closed contacts. When not energized, the normally open contacts are open and the normally closed contacts are closed; when energized, the normally open contacts close and the normally closed contacts open, thereby realizing the on-off control of the circuit. When the current stops, the magnetic field disappears, and the iron core returns to its original position under the action of a reset device (such as a spring), and the contacts return to their initial state.

Application Fields:
- Industrial Automation: It is often used in industrial occasions related to GE’s Mark I and Mark II series control systems, such as the turbine control system of large power plants, which can control the on-off of circuits related to turbines. It can also be used in the control systems of equipment such as CNC machine tools and solenoid valves to realize the control of equipment start-stop and operation state switching, improving the level of production automation.
- Power System: It can be used for circuit control and protection in power systems, such as controlling the start-stop and forward-reverse rotation of motors, or controlling the switch of electric heaters in temperature control systems.
