Schneider SEP383 59704 Basic Unit Module
Working Principle: This module acquires current and voltage signals in the power system by connecting current transformers and voltage transformers. The internal microprocessor analyzes and processes these signals, compares them with preset protection thresholds. When abnormal current or voltage is detected, such as exceeding the overload threshold, occurrence of short-circuit current, or voltage being lower than the set value, it drives the relay output according to the corresponding protection logic, controls the action of circuit breakers and other equipment, cuts off the circuit or sends an alarm signal to protect the power equipment. At the same time, the module can transmit measurement data and status information to the upper computer or other intelligent devices through the communication interface.
Functional Characteristics:
- Multiple Protection Functions: It can provide 16 types of digital current or voltage protection functions, such as overload protection, short-circuit protection, ground fault protection, etc. It can take corresponding protection measures for different types of faults to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system.
- Clear Status Indication: There are 2 LED lights on the front, 2 LED lights on the back for indicating the operating status of Sepam, and 9 LED lights on the front for indicating parameters, which is convenient for users to intuitively understand the working status of the module.
- Wide Power Supply Voltage Range: The rated power supply voltage ranges from 24VDC to 250VDC, which can adapt to various power supply environments and improve the applicability of the module.
- Strong Communication Capability: It usually supports multiple communication protocols, and can communicate with upper computers or other intelligent devices to realize remote monitoring, control and parameter setting, facilitating the construction of intelligent power monitoring systems.
- With Impedance Matching and Isolation: The module integrates a transformer inside, which can provide the required impedance matching and realize isolation between the voltage transformer and the input circuit, ensuring measurement accuracy and equipment safety.
