Working Principle

• Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) Structure: The TRICONEX system adopts a triple modular redundancy structure (TMR), with three identical branches. Each branch can independently execute control programs and work in parallel with the other two branches. For the TRICONEX 4119 module, each I/O signal has three mutually independent channels (Legs). Each channel independently reads the input signal and sends the read status to the corresponding main processor.
• Voting Mechanism: The system can perform “two-out-of-three voting” on I/O through software and hardware mechanisms. That is, when the output results of two or more of the three channels are consistent, the system considers the result to be correct, thereby improving the reliability and fault tolerance of the system.
