Product Overview: It is a part of the 3300 XL series eddy current sensor system, suitable for 3300 XL 11mm, 3300 XL 8mm, 3300 XL 25mm, 3300 XL 50mm and other specifications of the sensor.
Mounting methods: There are two mounting methods, either compact DIN rail mounting or traditional panel mounting. And both mounting substrates have electrical insulation, without the need for independent insulation boards, which reduces the complexity of installation.
Performance characteristics: Strong anti-radio interference ability, can effectively prevent the sensor system from being interfered by the surrounding high-frequency radio signals, to ensure the accuracy and stability of measurement. The maximum length from the 3300 XL preprocessor to the monitor can reach 305 m (1000 ft), which can meet the needs of long-distance signal transmission in different scenarios.
Function: The preprocessor generally provides the required power supply for the probe, and at the same time, the signal is amplified, detected and filtered. The probe coil of the eddy current displacement sensor receives the high-frequency current from the oscillator circuit of the preprocessor and generates a high-frequency magnetic field around it. The magnetic field passes through the metal surface close to the rotating shaft and generates an eddy current in it. The direction of the magnetic field generated by the eddy current is opposite to the direction of the magnetic field of the coil, which changes the inductance of the original coil. The change of the inductance varies with the change of the clearance of the metal surface at the top of the probe. The DC part of the output voltage is used to detect the displacement and the AC part is used to detect the vibration value according to the measurement requirements.
Application field: It is mainly applied to the condition monitoring of rotating machinery in various industrial scenarios. It can be used with the Bently 3500 series mechanical protection system for the measurement of shaft vibration, shaft displacement, key phase, speed, overspeed protection, eccentricity, thermal expansion, differential expansion and other parameters. Accepts vibration signals from the Bentley 3300 eddy current sensor system and 330500, 330400, 9200 velocity acceleration sensors to meet API 670 standards.
