BENTLY 3500/25 125792-01 Enhanced key phase module
Features: A semi-tall, dual-channel module that provides key phase signals to monitor modules in the 3500 frame. It receives an input signal from a proximity detector or magnetic receiver and converts the signal into a digital key phase signal indicating when the key phase marker on the axis coincides with the key phase sensor. The module provides more powerful key phase signal processing capabilities than previous designs, while maintaining backward compatibility with existing key phase modules in terms of form, adaptation, and functionality to meet the usage needs of legacy systems.
Input/Output: Input signals usually come from sensors mounted near the machine shaft, such as proximity probes or magnetic pickups, and the acceptable input signal range is generally + 0.8V to -21.0V (non-isolated I/O modules). The output is a digital key phase signal, which is used to indicate the specific position information of the shaft and can be provided to other modules within the 3500 monitor frame for speed, phase, tracking filtering and other measurements.
System compatibility: The 3500 machine protection system can accept four key phase signals in normal configuration and eight key phase signals in paired configuration. When less than two key phase sensors need to be installed, only one 3500/25 module needs to be installed; In special cases such as triple module redundancy (TMR) applications, the system should use 3500 key phase modules. Multiple modules can work in parallel to provide primary and secondary key phase signals to other modules within the rack.
