NI SCXI-1124 Signal Conditioning Module
Characteristics and Functions
Multi-channel design: Equipped with 8 channels, it can simultaneously connect multiple sensors to achieve synchronous measurement of multiple physical quantities, enhancing measurement efficiency and data correlation.
Rich input types: Supports multiple types of input signals, including strain gauges, thermocouples, thermal resistors (RTD), etc., which can meet the requirements of different measurement scenarios. The input type of each channel can be flexibly configured through the software, facilitating users to make selections based on their actual applications.
High-precision measurement: Advanced circuit design and high-precision analog-to-digital conversion technology are adopted to ensure precise measurement of physical quantities such as strain and temperature. The strain measurement accuracy can reach within ±0.1% of the full scale. The temperature measurement accuracy can also reach a relatively high level for the input of thermocouples and thermal resistors. For example, the measurement accuracy of thermocouples can reach about ±1℃, and that of thermal resistors can reach ±0.1℃ to ±0.3℃.
The signal conditioning function is powerful: Each channel is equipped with an independent signal conditioning circuit, including programmable gain amplifiers, filters, etc. The gain amplifier can automatically or manually adjust the gain multiple according to the size of the input signal, typically ranging from 1 to 1000, to optimize the measurement resolution. The filter can effectively filter out noise and interference in the signal. The cut-off frequency can be set through software to adapt to signals with different frequency characteristics.
Cold junction compensation and linearization: For thermocouple input, a high-precision cold junction compensation circuit is built in, which monitors the ambient temperature in real time and performs compensation to ensure the accuracy of temperature measurement. Meanwhile, the module also has a linearization function, which corrects the nonlinear characteristics of thermocouples and thermal resistors to improve the linearity of measurement.
