Functional characteristics

Signal processing capability: Ability to process multiple types of digital input signals, including dry contact signals and wet contact signals. The input signal can be filtered and de-buffeting to eliminate external interference and ensure the accuracy and stability of the input signal.
Diagnosis function: It has a powerful self-diagnosis function, which can monitor the working status of the module in real time, including power failure, channel failure, communication failure, etc. When a fault is detected, the module will immediately send an alarm signal and upload the fault information to the control system for timely maintenance and processing by the operator.

Number of input channels: there are usually 16 input channels, which can be connected to the digital signal output of 16 external devices at the same time, such as switches, buttons, limit switches, etc.
Signal type: Support dry contact signal, its allowable contact voltage range is generally 24VDC to 230VAC; The wet contact signal is also supported, and the input current is generally in the MA level.
Isolation characteristics: photoelectric isolation technology is used between channels and between the input signal and the module power supply, and the isolation voltage is usually up to several thousand volts, effectively preventing external interference signals from entering the control system, and avoiding mutual interference of internal signals in the system.
Response time: The module has a short response time to the input signal, generally in milliseconds, which can quickly and accurately transmit the external signal to the control system to ensure the timely response of the system to external events.
Operating voltage: generally 24VDC, with a certain voltage adaptation range, such as ±10% or ±20% fluctuation range, to adapt to different industrial field power conditions.
