Functional Features
- Multi-screen display: It can display multiple screens in an overlapping or switching manner, and can show various contents such as text, numbers, graphics, characters, alarm information, action processes, historical records, and trend graphs. This allows operators to fully understand the operating status of the system.
- Remote monitoring: Without programming, remote monitoring of the touch screen terminal can be realized through the IE browser on the PC, which facilitates remote operation and management and improves operational flexibility.
Working Principle
The touch screen obtains user input by detecting the position of the touch point. When a finger or stylus touches the screen, the sensing layer on the screen surface will produce a signal change. The controller converts this signal into coordinate values to determine the touch position.
Then, the touch screen module sends instructions or requests data to connected devices (such as PLC) according to the function program corresponding to the touch position. After receiving the instructions, devices like PLC perform corresponding processing and feed back the processing results or relevant data to the touch screen. The touch screen then displays the data, realizing the human-machine interaction function.

- Display parameters: 10.4-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 640×480 pixels, capable of displaying 65536 colors, and featuring 8 levels of brightness and contrast adjustment.
- Processor and memory: Equipped with a 266MHz RISC processor, 32MB internal memory, and 512KB SRAM data backup, powered by a lithium battery.
- Communication interfaces: Usually equipped with a COM2 serial link RJ45 interface (supporting RS485 with a rate of up to 187.5kbit/s and Siemens MPI protocol), and may also have 2 USB interfaces, Ethernet interface, etc.
- Power supply specifications: Powered by 24VDC power supply, with an operating voltage range generally between 19.2V and 28.8V, power consumption less than 50W, and allowable voltage drop less than 10ms.
- Dimensions and protection: Approximately 213mm in height, 271mm in width, and 57mm in depth. The front panel has an IP65 protection rating, and the back has an IP20 protection rating.
